How You Can Help
The Columban Sisters are most grateful for your partnership in our ministries and offer the following giving opportunities:
St. Columban’s on the Lake Fund
Throughout its more than 50-year history, St. Columban’s on the Lake Retirement Home has been completely self-supporting and receives no diocesan funding or other assistance. The retirement home depends on the generous support of its many resident families, friends, benefactors, and the surrounding community through fundraising activities and events.
The Columban Sisters face ongoing financial challenges in maintaining a high-quality residential retirement program while keeping costs affordable for residents and families. This fund provides financial support directly to elderly St. Columban’s residents who face challenges in meeting the ever-rising day-to-day costs of their retirement care.
Columban Sisters Worldwide Missions
The Missionary Sisters of St. Columban’s Mission Office is also located at St. Columban’s on the Lake. The office handles mission appeals throughout the year in support of the Columban Sisters work for the poor, the sick and the elderly in our missions in China, England, Ireland, Korea, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, and the United States. We are grateful to our friends and benefactors who support our missionary work with marginalized people around the world.
